Just watched a great video on the secrets to success. It's worth the 3 minutes (actually 3:33) it will take to watch it. It was done as part of TED talks. Full of great content that you'll want to teach to each of your children. It's that good and fundamental to what it takes to be a success.
I invested 15 minutes and watched it several times. I enjoyed the simple straightforward answers to the question "what leads to success?".
The presentation validated my thoughts about working hard, and having fun at the same time. About focusing on one thing and getting really good at it. Our business is solving problems using technology and the comments about ideas was spot on. And, the comment about persistence hit the ball out of the park for me.
